123 Years of Company History
Since its founding in 1903, the name Kron has stood for precision in metal processing in Solingen. Four generations have shaped the company – from spring manufacturer in Solingen-Ohligs to certified supplier to the automotive industry. A good century after the company was founded, much has changed. Our maxim, however, has remained the same: high customer satisfaction through lasting quality.

Company founder Alfred Kron had the desire to be self-employed and independent from an early age.

Competence at First Hand – for Over a Century
What began in 1903 with the production of springs is today a modern manufacturing operation for high-precision stamped, stamped-bent and hybrid parts. What has remained is the in-house toolmaking, the vertical integration under one roof and the aim of delivering every part to drawing in consistent quality – "Made in Solingen".
