At Alfred Kron GmbH, quality has been at the center of our actions for over 120 years. As a tradition-rich family business from Solingen, we produce high-precision stamped and bent metal parts, plastic parts and hybrid components for the automotive, electrical, furniture, construction and consumer goods industries with around 90 dedicated employees. Over one billion parts leave our facility each year – with consistently high precision and reliability. Social responsibility is reflected in strong team cohesion: most of our employees have been with us for many years, and apprentices are generally taken on permanently. Fairness, safety at the workplace and continuous further training are a matter of course for us.

Certified Management Systems – IATF 16949 and ISO 14001
Our high standards are underpinned by two internationally recognized management systems that we not only comply with, but regularly exceed:
- IATF 16949:2016 – the demanding quality management system of the automotive industry. It ensures error-free processes, precise documentation and continuous improvement. Regular surveillance audits confirm our performance as a reliable OEM supplier.
- ISO 14001:2015 – the environmental management system that has been steering our ecological processes since 2010. It ensures that environmental aspects are systematically taken into account and minimized in all areas – from production through packaging to shipping.
Both certifications are reviewed annually through independent audits and form the foundation of our daily work.
Quality Assurance – Precision Through State-of-the-Art Technology and Secured Processes
For us, quality does not arise by chance, but through systematic quality assurance at the highest level. We rely on a comprehensive CAQ system from Babtec, which controls measuring and testing digitally, traceably and in real time.
- State-of-the-art measuring and testing systems: Optical measuring and testing systems from Keyence enable contactless, high-precision and fast inline inspections – even with complex geometries and high quantities.
- Secured processes: Every production release only takes place after complete inspection of the tools and process parameters. Sustainable inspection frequencies – adapted to the critical characteristics – ensure permanently secured precision.
- Continuous monitoring: From incoming raw material inspection through process monitoring to final inspection and documentation – everything is fully traceable and meets the strictest customer and industry requirements. We regularly fall below the PPM rates (defects per million parts) of the automotive industry.
