Gross ≠ net: The calculator shows the strip input before stamping. Hole scrap and slugs reduce the actual finished part weight, and by how much depends on the individual part geometry. The coil formula is a geometric approximation without winding air gaps; real coil weights vary with supplier and strip tension. These are guide values for pre-costing – send us your drawing and we will work out the exact strip requirement and strip layout for you.
